17 Rooms (17R)

Developed in partnership between the Brookings Institution and The Rockefeller Foundation, 17 Rooms is a platform for spurring collaborative actions for the world's 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that are that are big enough to matter but sized right to get done.

Workshop Agenda

9:00 am – 9:30 am: Arrival/Registration

9:30 am – 10:00 am: Welcome Plenary
  • Key Points:
    1. Why 17 Rooms?
    2. How does 17 Rooms work?
    3. Introduction of Room co-leads

10:00 am – 12:00 pm: Room Discussions
  • Room co-leads will use the Action Agenda Template to guide discussions and record insights.

12:00 pm – 12:30 pm: Lunch

12:30 pm – 1:30 pm: Cross-Room Exchange
  • Participants visit another Room while Room co-leads remain in their designated Room.
  • Room co-leads continue to use the Action Agenda Template to record insights.

1:30 pm – 2:45 pm: Room Report-Out Plenary and Closing Remarks
  • Room co-leads use the Action Agenda Template to present a 90-second summary of Room action ideas.
  • VIP guests and listeners have the opportunity to offer closing remarks.

2:45 pm - End
  • All participants complete a 1-minute participant feedback form.
